Confined Space Entry
While working in confined spaces, your employees will encounter many hazards not found within standard worksites: lack of ventilation, high concentrations of hazardous vapors, engulfment, oxygen deficiency, etc. Therefore, OSHA requires special identification, testing and training for these environments.
In accordance with regulations, CCI will visit your job site and identify all confined spaces and permit-required confined spaces. Upon identification of the confined spaces, CCI will guide our clients in performing atmospheric testing for oxygen content, flammable gases and vapors, and potential toxic air contaminants. After atmospheric testing is completed, CCI will provide written procedures outlining requirements and processes for safe entry, as well as proper employee notification and signage of confined space. The final step of the program will be to provide training to your crew to ensure all are aware and understand proper protocol for safe entry.
Annual Audits and Training
To ensure your employees remain safe while working within the confined space, CCI will provide annual training programs and annual space audits. CCI will come to your site, inspect the confined space and review the procedures in action.
