Construction Jobsite Safety Coordinator
On many construction jobsites, the contract bid may require the general contractor to provide a full time or part time "jobsite safety coordinator" to be onsite during hours of operation for both long term as well as short term jobs.
These safety professionals provide a valuable service to the general contractor and sub–contractor alike to provide ongoing safety guidance throughout the work process. They can also assist the contractor with toolbox meetings, overall safety training, and jobsite safety inspections. They can attend safety meetings and provide written documentation on all aspects of safety issues conducted at the worksite.
